Plot
It tells the story of two opposing lawyers, Jagdish Tyagi and Jagdishwar Mishra also known as Jolly, who end up on different sides of a high profile court case. The story starts with the sad suicide of a poor farmer, Rajaram Solanki, who is deprived of his land by corruption and exploitation by powerful officials and a rich builder. His death turns out to be the basis of a courtroom struggle that reveals entrenched problems of injustice and exploitation.
The two lawyers have conflicting positions in the case initially because of personal rivalry and professional ego. But when the reality of the land scam unravels, with falsified documents, bogus witnesses and institutionalized corruption, one of them starts to wonder why he is on the side of the mighty.
At some point, the two lawyers solve their differences and collaborate to seek justice. The trial session is full of witty lines, emotional moments, and acute arguments, which culminate in a strong climax with the truth on the side and the family of the victim getting justice.
