Awarapan 2

Awarapan 2 Overview

Awarapan 2 is a sequel of the cult film Awarapan (2007) and an action crime thriller in Hindi language set for release in 2026. Emraan Hashmi’s Shivam Pandit is back in the film, almost two decades after the original. This sequel, helmed by Nitin Kakkar and starring Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi, is a sequel. The movie will be released on August 14, 2026, and will see the return of Shivam, who is grappling with his traumatic past, redemption, and a new mission—this one sat on a precipice.

The sequel fails to meld the emotional feel of the original Awarapan with a bigger action-thriller plot. Its release has garnered a lot of interest from Emraan Hashmi’s fans and also the original film which underperformed at the box office but has now become a cult favourite over the years.
